About the Role

The Inventory Manager oversees stock levels, coordinates procurement, and optimizes storage to meet user needs. This role manages the entire supply cycle, monitors finish sugar and molasses stock, and manages weighbridge functions.

Responsibilities

Supervise, hire, and train warehouse staff and inventory clerks.
Review daily purchase requisitions, verifying quantity, specifications, and estimated costs.
Perform budget checks and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.
Identify overstock situations and optimize reorder points to reduce inventory costs.
Conduct stock planning, forecasting, inventory control, and auditing.
Evaluate incoming requests for clarity, justification, and budget adherence.
Report on stock count activities (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual).
Oversee warehouse and storage functions.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in inventory management within a manufacturing industry.
