About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
- Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
- Assist in training lower-level technicians.
- Maintain complete and timely documentation of work performed.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- Level 3 Apprentice 421A preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of heavy equipment experience.
- 2+ years of aerial equipment experience (JLG, Genie, or equivalent).
- Possess a valid Heavy Equipment Service Technician License.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in customer service.
- Strong mechanical background knowledge with various engines and hydraulic systems.
- Good understanding of schematics and diagrams.
- Exhibit teamwork.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Employees are expected to own the tools applicable to the position.
- Ability to test equipment up to 180 feet in the air.
- Applicant home location should be within 1 hour of the Bercon Hamilton, ON shop.

Salary/Compensations
- Pay ranges provided may be adjusted outside communicated range based on a number of reasons including geography, skill level and experience.
- Individuals may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
