About the Role
Opening for a night float anesthesiologist at Garnet Health Medical Center, a Magnet-redesignated hospital in Middletown, NY. This facility is the only hospital in Orange County, NY, to earn Magnet redesignation and was awarded for nursing excellence for the second time in 2021. The nonprofit medical center has over 2,400 healthcare professionals, including more than 600 doctors, and serves a broad patient base.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
