About the Role
The Residential Real Estate Sr. Sales Associate monitors loan portfolios of Private Bank/Merrill Lynch clients, focusing on mortgage products. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage products, compliance, underwriting, and collateral. You will collaborate with internal teams and interact directly with clients, serving as the primary contact throughout the loan process. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and explore cross-selling potential.
Responsibilities
- Monitors loan portfolios of Private Bank/Merrill Lynch clients, specific to mortgage products.
- Works closely with the Residential Real Estate Specialist, PCAs, PCMs and FAs in structuring and pricing.
- Interacts directly with clients.
- Serves as primary contact with client for all necessary follow up and information throughout the loan process.
- Explores opportunities to further/deepen the client's relationship by leveraging all areas within BAC.
- Looks for potential cross sell opportunities.
Requirements
- Possesses a high degree of mortgage knowledge including product, compliance, underwriting, and collateral requirements.
- Previous residential mortgage/HELOC experience in the HNW arena required (minimum 4-10 years).
- Regulatory requirements demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics by complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and HMDA requirements.
- This position may be responsible for the provision of residential mortgage loans, and as such, is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.
- Employees are required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check.
- Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
