About the Role
We are seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our professional behind-the-scenes squad. Our Operations Department has two different positions available: Guest Services associate, responsible for providing the highest quality of care to all four-legged guests, maintaining industry-leading cleaning and sanitizing standards, and ensuring guests receive meals, medications, exercise, and love.
Responsibilities
- Supervising social groups
- Providing enrichment
- Monitoring play styles and interactions
- Cleaning
- Record keeping
- Completing health checks (checking over body, ears, gums, paws, etc.)
- Maintaining industry-leading cleaning and sanitizing standards
- Ensuring all guests receive meals, medications, exercise, and love
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, etc)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personality types
- Reliable individuals with a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get dirty
- Comfort with all sizes and breeds of dogs
- Comfort in managing large playgroups
- Physically demanding role requiring you to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Pay excellent attention to detail
- Set and maintain high standards for sanitation and cleanliness
- Exceptional ability to multitask, time manage, and adapt to change
- Experience working or volunteering in either a kennel, shelter, rescue, or veterinary facility is preferred
