About the Role
Wag Hotels is seeking passionate dog lovers for an entry-level Overnight Team Member position. This role is crucial for maintaining facility cleanliness, ensuring guest comfort, and providing exceptional customer service in a 24-hour pet care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest quality of care to all four-legged guests.
- Maintain industry-leading cleaning and sanitizing standards using state-of-the-art equipment and eco-friendly chemicals.
- Ensure all guests receive meals and medications.
- Clean dishes, do laundry, and clean/sanitize boarding rooms.
- Ensure all guests are in the correct rooms and accounted for.
- Cross-train in customer service.
- Provide the highest quality of customer service.
- Maintain open lines of communication between departments and clients.
- Cultivate medical and behavioral records of all guests using the online database.
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs.
- Process online reservations.
- Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, or in person.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personality types.
- Experience working or volunteering in a kennel, shelter, rescue, or veterinary facility is preferred.
