About the Role
Wag Hotels is seeking passionate dog lovers to join our professional behind-the-scenes squad. Our educationally based salon offers a full range of grooming and luxury spa services. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions. Groomers play a key role in our business, representing the front line and ensuring the highest level of fun, safety, and comfort for our four-legged guests.
Responsibilities
- Completing bathing services including baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression.
- Cutting and styling fur.
- Keeping the bathing salon clean and organized.
- Exploring new concepts and trends in the industry.
- Working as a team to create a fun learning environment.
- Providing customer care and satisfaction.
- Handling all breeds and sizes of dogs.
- Working in a standing position for long periods.
- Reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting 50 lbs.
- Being available to work mornings and afternoons.
Requirements
- 1 year of professional grooming experience is REQUIRED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays.
- Ability to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs.
- Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work mornings and afternoons.
