About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to support and scale the accounting operations of a growing manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial reporting support, and process improvements across accounting and operations. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing accounting experience, is highly analytical, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including product costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to improve cost visibility and financial performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation and oversee month-end inventory and cost accounting processes.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
- Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting as the organization grows.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting initiatives.
- Help lead and mentor accounting team members as needed.
Requirements
- Cost accounting & accounting management experience
- 2+ years deep Netsuite experience
- Hardware Mfg a big plus with inventory experience
- Maquiladora experience a plus
- Spanish speaking a plus
