About the Role

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain control engineering planning and project documents, including measurement point lists (MEL), signal exchange lists (SAL), function descriptions, LT configurator, network plans, and communication and security technology.
• Independently process and manage project data within the engineering system.
• Develop control engineering concepts in close coordination with customers, process engineering, electrical engineering, and other internal and external project participants.
• Coordinate and consolidate technical interfaces between involved trades and ensure consistent project processing.
• Review technical requirements, evaluate solution approaches, and support the creation of tender documents.
• Accompany the implementation of control engineering planning up to commissioning and support acceptance and technical clarification with customers and suppliers.
• Identify optimization potential in processes and plant concepts and actively contribute improvement suggestions to project work.
• Promote knowledge exchange within the department and actively contribute to the further development of the control engineering field.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies or a technician/master craftsman training in automation technology, electrical engineering, control engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a responsible project engineer in control engineering & automation.
• Practical experience in planning MSR, control, communication, or security technology projects.
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining MEL, SAL, function descriptions, and other technical planning documents, using standard IT and MS Office tools.
• Knowledge in the field of fire alarm systems, communication, and security technology is advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding to maintain an overview of complex projects.
• Ability to confidently coordinate interfaces between different trades.
• Structured, self-reliant, and reliable working method.
