About the Role
The Drop-Ship Buyer will lead and manage the Drop-Ship Category at Leon’s Furniture, focusing on assortment planning, product selection, vendor relations, merchandising, and analytics to maximize e-commerce sales and profitability. This role is integral to ensuring product availability, accuracy, and presentation while supporting marketing initiatives and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Drop-Shop category including assortment planning, purchasing, vendor relationships, merchandising, marketing, and business analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing for product campaigns and promotions, and support buying in existing categories.
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the Home Furnishings Industry.
- Demonstrate initiative, meticulous attention to detail, innovative trouble-shooting skills, and a passion for the Home Furnishings Industry.
- Coordinate Drop-Ship / On-Line business operations.
- Track and solicit co-op allowances and Volume Rebates in a timely manner to ensure the category maximizes profitability and ROI.
- Foster and maintain positive relations with all Departments and associates.
- Ensure Product Knowledge is made available to all associates as required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by Leon’s.

- Experience supporting the procurement of Home Furnishings products and related categories.
- Previous E-commerce category management experience is an asset.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use: Leon’s may use AI tools to support the recruitment and selection process.
