About the Role

As the senior finance leader for the Consulting line of business (LOB), this role oversees all financial and operational activities, directs financial reporting, and forecasts future business growth. The position is responsible for assessing and improving the financial performance of the Consulting LOB, driving strategy, analysis, and planning, and overseeing FP&A operations including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Drive the financial performance of the Consulting LOB by providing input about business-critical decisions and strategies.
Collaborate with leadership to define strategies and objectives that align with the firm's overall direction, quantify opportunity value, and assess progress against financial goals.
Act as a spokesperson for Consulting LOB financial opportunities and oversee strategic and tactical matters related to budget, contract management, technology needs, cost analysis, reporting, forecasting, and M&A activity.
Participate in cross-department executive committees as the financial information expert.
Present financial performance, strategies, and opportunities for all Consulting teams to firm-level executive leaders.
Create cost savings ideas and benchmark them against outside agencies.
Manage Operating Expenses at the Enterprise level, including forecasting, managing variances, and ensuring spend aligns with benchmarks.
Oversee the presentation of insightful operational analysis and reporting of key performance metrics, and lead efforts to drive top and bottom-line growth.
Identify and utilize data to help leaders anticipate future trends and grow the business with minimal disruption.
Translate financial data into forward-looking narratives and forecasts aligned with business and market insights.
Accountable as a member of the Consulting leadership team for forecasting and delivering financial plans that meet targeted revenue and profit goals.
Provide timely and accurate analytics to support strategic business decisions.
Create ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by senior leaders.
Coordinate with the Controller in the preparation of financial period close activities, journal entries, and variance analysis.
Motivate and develop a high-performing global team of finance professionals.
Respond positively to changing circumstances, implement change to drive business improvement, and serve as a model of change.
Drive collaboration and communication throughout the organization and eliminate silo behaviors.
Create and maintain an environment to support Consulting financial strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Administration is required.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft products is required.
Advanced Microsoft Suite Experience is required.
15+ years of related experience is required.
5+ years of managing others is required.
Exceptional client service attitude, outstanding people skills, and proactive engagement with employees are required.
Ability to motivate and influence others is required.
Demonstrated coordination, organization, critical thinking, and analytical skills are required.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously is required.

Salary/Compensations

$185,100 - $327,800
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
