About the Role
This role involves reviewing insurance policies, investigating complex automobile claims, and settling claims in accordance with organizational policies. You will collaborate with customers, service suppliers, other insurance companies, and law enforcement to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance policy and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or un-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices
- Collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of customer service experience
- Previous auto adjuster experience preferred
- Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
