About the Role
Moro’s Table in Auburn is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Server to join our front-of-house team. This role requires strong serving skills and the ability to step into a leadership position during service, setting the tone for the team, organizing the dining room, and ensuring exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, attentive table service
- Lead and support the FOH team during service
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Ensure servers, hosts, and support staff are prepared for service
- Communicate with the kitchen, bar, and management
- Resolve guest concerns professionally
- Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and organization
- Lead by example with punctuality, teamwork, and a positive attitude
Requirements
- Previous serving experience required
- Leadership or lead-server experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and upscale dining service is a plus
