About the Role
Ground Control Touring is seeking an Agency Associate to support their Agent supervisor with a variety of duties including tour bookings, contract management, and client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist Agent with tour bookings and coordinating tour announcements.
- Manage the flow of holds, offers, contracts, deposits, ticket counts and finals.
- Enter extensive event and deal information into our database.
- Interact with client teams (managers, labels, publicists, touring crew).
- Monitor ticket sales, evaluate tour marketing plans and promotional execution.
Requirements
- Prior office/administrative experience required.
- 2-3 years music industry experience, ideally in a booking or live entertainment setting.
- Ability to understand complex deal structure for clients’ fees.
- Strong (Mac) computer and Internet skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytic skills, and a passion for accuracy.
- Professional and personable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing time-sensitive projects.
- Attentive to details.
- Familiarity with our roster.
