About the Role
Supervise one of our ABA rooms serving infants and toddlers ages 2-3 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other global delays. Children receive 1:1 individualized ABA instruction with goals based on assessment, data collection, and data-driven decision making, utilizing applied verbal behavior and discrete trial instruction.
Responsibilities
- Implement programs based on the science of applied behavior analysis, speech and language pathology, and occupational therapy
- Conduct intake and ongoing assessments of students
- Collect data on child’s progress, behaviors, and performance
- Conduct group activities and group instruction
- Participate in implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Supervise/train teaching assistants, student teachers, and interns
- Conduct daily/weekly observations for teaching assistants, student teachers, and interns
- Participate in staff meetings and staff training sessions
- Complete progress reports for parent-teacher meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- New York State Certified Special Education Teacher (Birth-2nd Grade, TSSLD, TSHH, LMSW, LCSW, NP, RN, LPN)
- 1 year of experience as a lead teacher in a room setting is a plus
- Relevant ABA Experience is a plus
- Certified Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) is a plus
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Early Intervention (EI) is a plus

- $90,000 - $110,000
