About the Role
Our ABA and Special Instruction Home-based Therapists collaborate with Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists to serve children aged 0-3 with developmental delays. Children receive 1:1 individualized ABA instruction with child-specific goals based on thorough assessment, ongoing data collection, and data-driven decision-making, utilizing methods like applied verbal behavior, discrete trial instruction, and embedded coaching.
Responsibilities
- Serve children aged 0-3 with developmental delays.
- Provide 1:1 highly individualized ABA instruction.
- Utilize child-specific goals based on thorough assessment, ongoing data collection, and data-driven decision making.
- Employ methods including applied verbal behavior, discrete trial instruction, and embedded coaching.
- Collaborate with Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists.
Requirements
- NY Licensed Physical Therapist
- State-certified therapist or Clinical Fellow
- Background in Early Intervention or behavioral therapies
- Belief in the mission to bring exceptional treatment and services to children with autism in underserved communities.
- Integrity, persistence, patience, and a genuine desire to educate and empower children with autism and better the professional lives of those you work alongside.
