About the Role

The Contract Manager collaborates with various teams to develop, implement, and manage service agreements, ensuring quality of care and analyzing contract performance. This role involves managing contractual terms, analyzing spend, reviewing invoices, and addressing patient concerns related to contracted services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Central Health Healthcare Delivery service contracts in collaboration with the Director of Operations, Clinical Operations, Legal, and executive leadership.
  • Understand contract workflows to ensure all necessary components are included.
  • Monitor monthly spending against contracts and report areas of concern.
  • Ensure timely execution, renewal, or termination of contracts according to requirements.
  • Review submitted reports and invoices for contract compliance.
  • Address patient concerns by directing the Patient Experience team and documenting resolutions.
  • Develop communication strategies for contractual and financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to determine service costs and Central Health's spend, ensuring alignment with contractual limits and providing budgetary recommendations.
  • Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Skills in developing contractual terms and managing the contract execution process.
  • Knowledge of business or healthcare management and operations principles.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making.
  • Skills in organizing work, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and promote teamwork.
  • Skills in performing complex operations in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
  • Skills in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide contracted services.
  • Knowledge of challenges faced by low-income individuals in accessing healthcare services.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think critically using math, logic, and analysis to review data and resolve issues related to service cost and appropriateness.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment while driving clarity and solutions.
  • Skills in scheduling, facilitating, and participating in meetings to coordinate work.
