About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Manager, DashPass Strategy & Operations to build and own the merchant co-funding strategy behind DashPass. This role is critical for making DashPass benefits sustainable and scalable by unlocking merchant investment. You'll operate at the intersection of our consumer subscription business and our merchant and monetization teams, defining merchant value, quantifying it, and creating scalable co-funded offers for diverse merchant cohorts. You will ensure benefits are evaluated on merchant outcomes and drive results across multiple teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Own the DashPass co-funding strategy end to end, defining benefits, funding levels, and business cases.
  • Build and defend the merchant value proposition for DashPass by quantifying incremental volume, new customer acquisition, and order frequency.
  • Influence the promotions and monetization product roadmap by representing DashPass co-funding requirements.
  • Act as the DashPass DRI in merchant commercial conversations, sizing impact and setting guardrails.
  • Hold the member benefit roadmap accountable to merchant outcomes by establishing frameworks and metrics.
  • Model complex tradeoffs and present data-driven points of view to senior leadership.
  • Experiment and scale strategies by turning them into operational experiments with measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy & operations, commercial strategy, management consulting, investment banking, business development, product operations, or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of owning ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end.
  • Experience building the business case for a two-sided value exchange.
  • Comfortable in or adjacent to commercial conversations (MSAs, up-front agreements, pricing, partnerships).
  • Strong quantitative and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-serve data (intermediate+ SQL/Excel).
  • Bias to action and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A 'breakthrough walls' mentality and ability to make things happen.
  • Clarity of thought and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly across technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
  • Subscription, marketplace, advertising, retail-media, or merchant/SMB experience is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
