About the Role
This 10-week paid summer internship program immerses participants in the daily operations of a global financial services company, providing invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through job assignments and projects. Interns will interact with senior leaders and build professional networks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze investment portfolio exposures and risk metrics across various asset classes.
- Support portfolio monitoring, risk reporting, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct research on financial markets, emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
- Work and learn from leaders, mentors, and team members.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, and offerings.
- Build a network of colleagues and foster a sense of community.
- Think broadly and ask questions about data and information.
Requirements
- Current junior with a graduation date of May 2028.
- Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk.
- Willingness to learn about different functions and career paths.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Coursework or demonstrated interest in finance, investments, economics, accounting, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Must be available for the full program dates.
