About the Role
As a Retail Production Associate, you’ll play a critical role in processing and preparing non-clothing donations for the sales floor, helping turn everyday items into valuable resources that fund our programs. This is an opportunity to be part of building a high-performing team from the ground up, where your work directly supports our mission and helps create opportunities in the community.
Responsibilities
- Sort non-clothing ('hardlines') donations into sellable, salvage, or trash categories following Goodwill standards
- Assess quality and identify items of value for pricing
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality expectations
- Prepare donations for the sales floor
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and production areas
- Dispose of unsellable items using proper procedures (compactor/dumpster)
- Support donation door operations and assist with donation movement as needed
Requirements
- Ability to assess item quality and make sound decisions
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute every day
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
