About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join our data team to build analytics and data infrastructure for a new business line. You will strengthen production dashboards and data onboarding, design new data models, and identify additional data sources to enhance analysis. This role requires ownership, stakeholder collaboration, and clear communication of findings to diverse audiences. It is ideal for individuals energized by ambiguity, building new solutions, and integrating modern engineering practices, including AI tooling.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve production dashboards and onboarding data pipelines.
- Design and build new data models from scratch, identifying additional data sources.
- Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to translate business questions into analysis and reporting.
- Build reliable, well-tested, production-ready pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake.
- Use AI tooling to accelerate analysis, pipeline development, and iteration.
- Communicate findings, models, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Own projects end-to-end, from scoping through delivery.
- Contribute to data documentation and governance practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or a closely related field (6–7 years is ideal).
- Strong SQL expertise with comfort working across large or complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with a BI tool (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
- Proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of owning and delivering projects end-to-end, ideally with project management experience.
- Collaborative, energetic communicator who works well within a close-knit team.
- Experience with consumer credit or lending analytics, ideally from a banking background (Nice to Have).
- Fintech or SaaS fintech experience (Strongly Preferred).
- Experience integrating AI tools into your day-to-day workflow (Nice to Have).
- Python or another coding language (Nice to Have).
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake (Nice to Have).
