About the Role
Our Engineering Graduate Programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and significant career in global financial markets technology. This 12-month development opportunity is for the Tech Savvy, aiming to build foundational skills key for future success. You will learn and work with technology experts and develop your career in a leading fintech company.
Responsibilities
- Progress through a 12-month development journey aiming to build foundational skills.
- Build foundational knowledge of LSEG, Financial Markets and the business during your global induction.
- Participate in an 'Engineering Bootcamp' week to immerse you in business and Engineering principles.
- Participate in group projects aligned to LSEG goals.
- Meet in person with your cohort at ‘Ignite’, the programme mid-point skills offsite.
- Explore key knowledge areas and skills.
- Access opportunities to earn industry recognized qualifications, including 5 study days during the programme.
- Connect with the global early careers community and contribute to wider society via CSR initiatives and volunteering opportunities.
- Be aligned to a division from day one to develop within a secure framework.
- Discover more about different areas of LSEG by connecting with various departments.
Requirements
- Must be a final year undergraduate or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline and have completed all requirements before August/September 2027.
- Alternatively, be a fresh graduate in the class of 2026.
- Interested in Full-Stack Development.
- Familiar with one of the programming languages: C#, JavaScript, Node JS, .NET skills or Python.
- For roles in the Network Product Services team, interest in Network Assets, API based services and automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible.
- Genuine curiosity about Technology and strive to pursue a Technology career path.
- Understand the breadth of the organisation, how it functions and the vital role technology plays.
- Strong interest in technology proven via work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies.
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets built through studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Curiosity for data and ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- Ability to connect the dots and think strategically.
- Focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with others using communication skills.
- Have the right to work in Romania without restrictions.
- Candidates with physics, engineering, or electronic degrees who can demonstrate an interest in Technology are also considered.
