About the Role

Assists with providing general maintenance and repair to the Clubhouse interior and exterior under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent.

Responsibilities

Maintain the building in a sanitary manner compliant with New York City Building Department regulations.
Inspect the Clubhouse and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs.
Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
Record daily repairs and general maintenance performed.
Create a calendar for scheduled maintenance repairs and permit renewals.
Test fire alarm boxes and emergency lighting monthly and track procedures.
Respond efficiently to emergency maintenance needs including floods, snow removal, and leaks.
Adhere to the maintenance budget to ensure an appealing Clubhouse internally and externally.

Requirements

A minimum of one year of experience in the maintenance field.
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, floor stripping and buffing, and painting.
Highly motivated and dedicated to the organizational mission.
