About the Role
We are looking for caring and attentive care assistants/support workers to help our client, a gentleman living with a spinal cord injury, live a comfortable life in his home. The role involves supporting him with his daily routines, including more complex morning and night time routines, with significant downtime during the day. The client has a fantastic sense of humour and is looking for someone with a calm, peaceful nature who is passionate about care.
Responsibilities
- Support client with daily routines
- Assist with morning and night time routines
- Accompany client on outings, such as to the shops
- Provide support in a calm and peaceful manner
- Work with one client per shift
- Ensure continuity of care through a regular working pattern
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of care experience
- Must be over 18 years old
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS check
