About the Role
The Manager, Agency Operations will plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, serving as the primary point of contact between agency and marketing teams to ensure campaign delivery and objective achievement. This role requires strong leadership and attention to detail, supporting retail portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key liaison and trusted partner between Brand Partners and agency teams, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment on business objectives, priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
- Develop a strong understanding of Brand Partner businesses, marketing objectives, and priorities to provide thoughtful counsel and help translate business needs into actionable agency opportunities.
- Lead projects and integrated campaigns from intake through delivery, developing project plans, workback schedules, key milestones, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and delivery timelines.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including strategy, creative, production, media, and operations to ensure seamless execution and high-quality work.
- Proactively manage Brand Partner expectations, project scope, timelines, risks, and changing priorities, identifying solutions and escalating issues when required.
- Facilitate creative reviews and stakeholder discussions, consolidating and translating feedback into clear, actionable direction for internal teams while ensuring feedback is addressed.
- Build strong relationships across the agency and with Brand Partners, anticipating needs and identifying opportunities to strengthen the partnership and improve ways of working.
- Drive accountability across project teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly understood and commitments are met.
- Represent assigned accounts and projects in regular intake, resourcing, status, forecasting, and reconciliation meetings, providing clear visibility into priorities, progress, risks, and next steps.
- Develop and maintain key campaign and account documentation, including executional briefs, status updates, traffic sheets, asset matrices, meeting documentation, and other materials required for successful delivery.
- Partner with the broader Agency Operations team to forecast, track, and reconcile agency fees and production costs, maintaining visibility into account financials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across agency processes and ways of working, identifying opportunities to create greater efficiency and deliver a strong Brand Partner experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of successfully leading, managing, and delivering complex projects
- Account management agency experience preferred
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams
- PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP or CSM designations considered an asset
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
- In-depth knowledge of production workflows, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Business acumen and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
