About the Role

The Legal Operations Transformation Manager supports the delivery of operational initiatives across the team by tracking and coordinating projects, structuring day-to-day activity, and ensuring alignment with team priorities. This role provides oversight and reporting to help stakeholders understand progress and make informed decisions, contributing to projects that create clear, measurable value.

Responsibilities

  • Track project progress, keeping plans, action logs, and risk or issue registers up to date.
  • Coordinate tasks and follow up with project owners to ensure work progresses.
  • Support cross-team transformation initiatives by scheduling meetings, sharing information, and enabling collaboration.
  • Prepare clear updates and simple dashboards to show project status and progress.
  • Monitor key project metrics and flag risks, delays, or issues.
  • Support the development of accurate and consistent project materials and documents.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase delivery efficiency.
  • Build an understanding of Legal Operations and Project Management service lines to support the team broadly.
  • Provide additional support across projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience managing or supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and communicating clearly across teams.
  • Ability to analyze information and present it straightforwardly.
  • Proactive approach with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across different functions and levels.
  • Experience supporting transformation or change initiatives.

Skills

  • Project management approaches or tools (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, MS Project, JIRA).
  • Strong data handling and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or BI platforms.
  • Understanding of Legal Project Management or Legal Operations in a law firm.
