About the Role
Seed and grow within MLSE's Groundskeeping role, assisting in field preparation, maintenance, and project oversight for various sporting events and concerts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in field preparation for TFC soccer and Argos football games, concerts, and other events.
- Operate equipment including tractors, mowers, and line trimmers.
- Maintain landscaping around the stadium and practice facility to the highest quality.
- Assist in painting multiple types of professional athletic fields.
- Assist in a year-long fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide program.
- Assist in the equipment maintenance program.
- Oversee small projects.
- Lead groups on projects.
- Perform other responsibilities as the need arises.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the turf industry.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including some nights and weekends.
- Flexibility to work at either location.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Full G license in good standing is an asset.

Education Level
- Diploma or degree in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, plant and soil science, sports field management, or a related discipline strongly preferred.
