About the Role

As the Coordinator, Sport Development Projects, you will plan and execute Toronto FC & Toronto Argonauts Development programs and events, leading a team of hourly staff to create positive experiences and lifelong memories for participants, ultimately growing the fanbase.

Responsibilities

Act as the day-to-day contact for Soccer & Football Development programming, collaborating across departments for program integration.
Build and maintain relationships with parents, the soccer & football community, and relevant organizations.
Lead the planning and execution of Soccer & Football Development programs, events, and MLSE Foundation & MLSE Launchpad events.
Manage and track program budgets, ensuring expenditures align with financial plans.
Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of hourly staff to deliver programming.
Manage social and web presence for Toronto FC & Toronto Argonauts Development, including website updates and social media content curation.
Assist Sport Development colleagues with hockey and basketball initiatives as required.

Requirements

Experience with detailed event and logistical planning, including creating and delivering youth camps or day programs while managing a budget.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to exercise empathy and kindness, support others, and learn and grow.
Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Open-mindedness and quick learning of new software programs.
Strong understanding of soccer & football and long-term athlete development models.
Ability to write age- and stage-appropriate curriculum.
Ability to lead on-court programming with diverse athletes, focusing on fun and physical literacy.
Possession of a G level driver's license.
Comfortable driving large SUVs and a 20ft cube truck.
Requirement to obtain or show proof of a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
