  • Support product governance activities by reviewing product changes, assurance outcomes and service provider impacts against DDO, RIC and Target Market Determination (TMD) obligations.
  • Contribute to governance forums and reporting by providing oversight insights, assurance outcomes and findings to support trustee decision-making.
  • Review controls and processes supporting member communications and disclosures, oversee issue resolution, and contribute to reporting on communication-related incidents, trends and remediation outcomes.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality papers, oversight findings and recommendations for management, trustee committees and service providers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build constructive relationships, influence outcomes, provide appropriate challenge and engage confidently with senior leaders, risk and compliance teams and service providers.
  • Demonstrated experience in superannuation, trustee office, risk, governance, oversight, audit or service provider management, ideally within an APRA-regulated environment.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant prudential and regulatory obligations, including SPS 515, CPS 230, operational risk frameworks, member outcomes and product governance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and issue management skills, with the ability to interpret service provider data, assess control effectiveness and support remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and integrity, with the confidence to assess issues, challenge service providers and support trustee decision-making.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Resilient, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to respond effectively to change, incidents and emerging risks while maintaining a focus on member outcomes.
  • A collaborative and accountable team player with a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
