About the Role

As an intern/working student in Innovation Management, you will support the team in researching and evaluating new technologies and developments, particularly in artificial intelligence, cyber security, AI security, dual use technologies, and defense applications. You will contribute to trend and market analyses, examine technological developments and their potential impact on the automotive industry, and help develop concepts and use cases for innovative technologies within Mercedes-Benz. You will also prepare complex technical information, create presentations, and support business connections with external entities.

Responsibilities

Support the team in researching and evaluating new technologies and developments, particularly in artificial intelligence, cyber security, AI security, dual use technologies, and defense applications.
Support trend and market analyses and examine technological developments as well as their potential impact on the automotive industry.
Contribute to the development of concepts and use cases for the use of innovative technologies within Mercedes-Benz.
Prepare complex technical information understandably and create presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the establishment and maintenance of business connections with companies, start-ups and research facilities, and analyze potential cooperations.
Actively participate in agile projects, contribute own ideas, and support the team in the further development of innovative topics.

Requirements

Excellent German and English language skills.
Complete application including covering letter, curriculum vitae, overview of grades, enrollment certificate, and where applicable, residence permit/work permit.
Study business informatics, computer science, IT security, computer science, cyber security, artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, IT/technology communication, or a comparable engineering degree program with strong relevance to digitalization and new technologies.
High affinity and enthusiasm for future technologies and enjoy explaining technical innovations in a comprehensible way.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Ability to work independently, structured, and proactively.
Initial practical experience in consulting, project, or change management is ideal.
Creative, motivated, and reliable.
Willingness to contribute own ideas.
Strong communication skills.
Enjoy working in an international environment.
Confident approach to MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
