About the Role
Brookdale is seeking Caregivers to provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each senior with respect and dignity. This role offers opportunities for career advancement into positions like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) and Medication Technician (QMAP).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each senior with respect and dignity.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Help residents with household tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
- Complete training/certification as required by state regulation.
Requirements
- Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
- Qualified associates who have been with Brookdale for at least a year may receive up to $725 for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs.
