About the Role
As Group Product Manager, Device Cloud Platform (IoT), you will define and lead the evolution of Resmed’s device cloud platform strategy. You will shape its shift into an intelligent, continuously improving connected system that integrates millions of devices into our broader digital ecosystem. This role requires clarity in complexity, turning infrastructure into a defined platform product, and delivering safe, scalable, and valuable connected device capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and continually evolve the vision and strategy for the Device Cloud Platform (IoT).
- Translate device, patient, technical, operational, and commercial needs into a clear product roadmap.
- Own the full platform lifecycle, from discovery through to end-of-life.
- Lead safe, scalable over-the-air software delivery across connected devices.
- Shape the strategy for device connectivity and fleet management, including communication technologies, lifecycle states, and SIM management, while owning commercial performance and key measures across cost, value, reliability, utilisation, and fleet health.
- Own cloud-side services that power end-to-end digital experiences for patients and providers, enabling seamless interaction across devices, data, and care pathways.
- Define and drive a broader ecosystem and third-party integration strategy, enabling secure, scalable connectivity with external partners and platforms.
- Improve the quality, reliability, and accessibility of device and therapy data.
- Partner across embedded software, cloud engineering, architecture, product, data, clinical, regulatory, quality, operations, finance, procurement, and marketing.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small product team as the platform grows.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product management, product development, or relevant technical or commercial roles.
- Background owning a platform, infrastructure product, shared service, or connected-product capability used by multiple teams.
- Proven ability to define strategy and translate it into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Product leadership capability, including leading or mentoring product managers.
- Commercial judgement across cost, value, or operational performance.
- Technical fluency across connected products, cloud platforms, telemetry, data pipelines, remote configuration, and software delivery.
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams across organisational boundaries.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
