About the Role
As a Procurement Technician student, you will play a key role in the Nexus project, a major initiative to modernize procurement and supplier management processes and tools. Responsibilities
- Participate in the cleaning, preparation, and validation of supplier and contractual data to be migrated to the new solution.
- Contribute to the analysis, compilation, and updating of information required for data migration.
- Perform data quality validation and document identified anomalies or discrepancies.
- Participate in the preparation, execution, and documentation of user testing for the new solution.
- Assist in preparing guides, procedures, training materials, and support tools for future users.
- Contribute to various administrative support activities related to the project.
- Integrate information, perform required updates, and contribute to report generation.
- Support specialists in contract management and supplier performance in certain administrative and follow-up tasks.
- Help maintain the quality, organization, and integrity of information used by the team.
Requirements
- Currently studying administration or a related field, such as procurement or law.
- Approximately two years of relevant experience is an asset.
- Intermediate knowledge of English, with daily oral and written interaction with English-speaking colleagues or partners in Canada and the United States.
- Recognized for attention to detail and rigor.
- Proactive with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrates good analytical skills.
- Shows interest in data, business processes, and technologies.
- Proficient knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft Office suite.
