About the Role
The London Private Client Team is seeking a Tax Manager with relevant, detailed, and up-to-date UK tax knowledge, including experience with international tax aspects like residency and UK arrival/departure. This role involves working with a diverse client base, building trusted relationships, and delivering high-quality technical advice and project management. You will also support and coach junior team members, identify opportunities to assist clients, and contribute to the growth of the Private Client business.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical advice.
- Manage projects from start to finish.
- Support and coach junior members of the team.
- Review the work of junior team members.
- Help junior team members develop technically.
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities to help clients further and deepen relationships.
Requirements
- Relevant, detailed, and up-to-date UK tax knowledge.
- Previous experience of international aspects of tax (residency, arriving/leaving UK).
- Skilled at building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in a Private Client/Personal Tax role.
- Skilled at building and developing professional relationships.
- Experience of running a team.
- Curious and confident in adopting new technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
- Great communicator, excelling at building solid, trusting relationships.
