About the Role
Vialto is a market leader in global mobility services, uniquely positioned as the only stand-alone global mobility business. Our teams assist companies in streamlining global mobility programs, focusing on cross-border compliance and risk assessment for tax, immigration, business travel, rewards, compensation, and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Accurately review and sign tax returns, tax equalizations, and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines.
- Provide guidance on tax equalization and protection policies to employees, ensuring clear understanding and compliance.
- Analyze employee compensation and payroll data to accurately calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits.
- Prepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees’ tax positions, including comprehensive data analysis and communication with assignees.
- Diligently maintain detailed tax records and documentation for accuracy and audit-readiness.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in international tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Strong tax technical knowledge of Canadian and US individual cross-border tax issues.
- US Preparer's Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and automated tax processing systems (TaxPrep, CCH Axcess).
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Good organization skills, positive attitude, and flexibility to work overtime when required.

- $101.00/hour to $125.00/hour
