About the Role

Merch Traffic is hiring a Shipping and Logistics Manager to track purchase orders, coordinate worldwide shipping, and complete inventory software receipts. This role will lead the logistics strategy, collaborating across departments and partners to create efficient and cost-effective supply chain networks for events, retailers, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all shipment activities across all lines of business, domestic and international.
  • Work across all departments, 3P distributors, and other parties to ensure product gets to the right place, on time, and at the best possible cost.
  • Ensure all shipments are compliant with interstate traffic laws and regulations.
  • Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages.
  • Work with vendors and warehouses on proper documentation to match receiving logs.
  • Receive and transfer product so location and invoicing is correct.
  • Monitor production team open purchase orders to ensure timely receiving of goods.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of previous shipping and logistics experience.
  • Familiarity with freight, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, both domestically and internationally.
  • Knowledge of Harmonized System (HS) Codes and completing commercial invoices.
  • Experience with SAP, Xero, or similar inventory software.
  • Strong mastery of Excel.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented, with strong follow through.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Possess a positive work attitude with the ability to work on many projects at one time.
  • Work experience in entertainment and/or music industries a plus.
