  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions across Claims, Operations, Product, Technology, and Change teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear epics, features, user stories, use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Work with Product Managers, Product Owner, Engineering Delivery Lead developers, data teams, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered as intended.
  • Create and maintain business analysis artifacts, including business requirements documents, process maps, data models, user journeys, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Support the Claims Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring items are sufficiently defined and ready for delivery.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing planning and execution, including test scenario development, defect triage, issue clarification, and resolution.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and support change control throughout the product or project lifecycle, from initial requirement through deployment and post-release validation.
  • Conduct impact assessments, root-cause analysis, and gap analysis to support business and technology change initiatives.
  • Provide analysis and insight to support prioritization decisions, including business value, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and implementation impacts.
  • Assess and help optimize Claims processes to improve operational efficiency, colleague experience, customer outcomes, data quality, and control effectiveness.
  • Contribute effectively in Agile and Waterfall environments, participating in relevant ceremonies, governance forums, and delivery activities.
  • Create clear, concise, and high-quality deliverables and support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement across the Claims Performance team.

  • Experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
  • Experience producing business requirements documents, epics, features, user stories, use cases, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews, including constructively challenging assumptions and resolving ambiguity.
  • Strong process-mapping skills using recognized modeling techniques and the ability to document processes at appropriate levels of detail.
  • Experience creating and maintaining requirements traceability and supporting backlog refinement.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and working with business and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Understanding of the regulatory, compliance, and control environment in which an insurance company operates.
  • Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and influencing skills, including the ability to explain business and technical concepts clearly.
