About the Role
QuadReal is seeking an IT Senior Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Solutions team. This role will support the team's application suite and project delivery, aiming to maximize organizational performance through the implementation, improvement, and sustainment of leading-edge tools and processes. The individual will collaborate with the business on system product roadmaps, platform enhancements, and project delivery, including requirements analysis, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and drive scoping, gap analysis, needs assessments, impact analysis, requirements definition, and prioritization for enhancements and projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct investigations for business requirements specifications, feasibility studies, and business case preparation.
- Challenge initiatives with business value in mind.
- Support technology design and re-design by interpreting business requirements and assessing impacts of changes.
- Manage resolutions and corrective actions for problems and issues according to procedures.
- Coordinate and support business users with day-to-day support issues, including application software and operational systems.
- Engage with vendors to resolve incidents, problems, or performance issues, escalating as needed.
- Create, document, and execute test cases for system changes and support end-user acceptance testing.
- Act as a liaison between IT teams, business lines, and stakeholders to understand strategies and priorities.
- Create and advocate a customer-centric culture in all team interactions.
- Promote teamwork and network across the organization to drive buy-in, deliver estimations, and support change adoption.
- Ensure system administration of applications is completed as required.
- Lead or assist with system enhancements, coordinating configurations, testing, and end-user training.
- Facilitate or assist with the system selection process and support implementation and sustainment.
- Create and maintain user guides, manuals, and related materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant business analysis, process engineering, solutions management, or related areas.
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder, and time management skills.
- Comfortable with the unknown and adaptable to change.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Proactive and analytical personality with strong integrity, collaboration, and commitment.
- Ability to analyze and deconstruct complex business processes and identify optimization opportunities.
- Knowledge of change management or process improvement methodologies.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada; company does not provide work permit sponsorship.
