About the Role
We are building a candidate pool for potential upcoming Security Officer openings. These opportunities may arise on all shifts (2nd, 3rd; full-time or part-time) at various fixed locations. Roles offer set schedules, providing consistency and stability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular walking patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment.
- Complete clear and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and site staff.
- Follow established security procedures and contact emergency services when necessary.
- Observe and report unusual, suspicious, or unsafe activity.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations in a professional manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using basic technology, including CCTV systems and reporting tools.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Previous security experience is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
