About the Role
Milton CAT is seeking experienced Earthmoving Service Technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, reconditioning, overhauling, and maintaining heavy equipment and components. Responsibilities
- Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts
- Identifies the problem and cause of failure through logical troubleshooting steps
- Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components
- Prepares, inspects, and operates machines prior to delivery
- Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systems
- Prepares accurate inspections and completes service reports
- Adheres to all established safety protocols and standards and utilizes appropriate PPE
- Flexible to work after hours when needed to meet customer needs
Requirements
- Heavy equipment repair experience preferred
- Experience with diesel equipment, engines, or automotive also a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in the use of a computer
- Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced service environment with minimal supervision
- Maintain a tool inventory sufficient to perform assigned tasks
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position
- Background check and drug testing are required as part of our pre-employment process

Salary/Compensations
- Minimum starting wage of $30.52 - $38.46 per hour
