About the Role

The District Sales Associate will provide administrative support to sales teams, including territory operational support, business plan creation, facilitating team meetings, and identifying new business opportunities. This role adheres to internal compliance regulations and sales practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to sales teams (2 or more District Vice Presidents and 2 or more Business Development Managers).
  • Manage territory operations, including calendar, expense, and budget management.
  • Plan and execute events.
  • Maintain the CRM database.
  • Create and implement business plans in collaboration with the District Vice-President and Business Development Manager.
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings to ensure efficiency and consistency in territory management.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities through proactive sales calls.
  • Strengthen internal and external client relationships.
  • Act as the team compliance coordinator, adhering to Internal Compliance regulations and Sales Practices under NI 81-105.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Willingness to pursue new and creative ideas.
  • Motivation to achieve results.
  • Dedicated and energetic.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal & written.
  • Interest and curiosity in capital markets and the fund industry.
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Successful completion of a financial services industry program course (i.e. CSC, IFIC, CFA, CFP, CIM, etc) would be an asset but not required.
