About the Role

This position is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of collaborating within a team and across the organization, taking responsibility for software artifacts and adhering to U.S. Bank standards to minimize impact on the customer experience. Familiarity with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining products
  • Taking full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
  • Creating optimal designs adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Performing analysis on failures, proposing design changes, and encouraging operational improvements
  • Making sound design/coding decisions with a focus on customer experience
  • Taking feedback from code reviews and applying changes to meet standards
  • Conducting code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance
  • Ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
  • Exhibiting relentless focus on software reliability engineering standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component Framework
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce development tools
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs and web services
  • Knowledge of database concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary/Compensations

  • $111,095.00 - $130,700.00
