About the Role

Serve as the Head Talent Partner to the RX business and HR leadership team, owning the delivery of the Talent and Capability (T&C) COE strategy and ensuring alignment with divisional priorities to enhance capability and performance. Represent the COE on the divisional HR leadership team and integrate talent solutions into business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement Talent and Capability approaches supporting business objectives.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and articulate business drivers.
  • Advocate and implement leadership and development programs to elevate manager capability, shape high-performance culture, and build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Represent RX's needs in RELX-wide T&C discussions, ensuring outcomes are relevant and valuable.
  • Promote a culture of continuous growth and curiosity, using data to monitor talent initiative effectiveness.
  • Coordinate RELX Talent Review activities to identify critical positions, talent readiness, and succession pipelines, supporting strategies to address gaps.
  • Drive a culture of feedback and recognition, collaborating with the global HR organization for integrated approaches.
  • Manage the divisional training plan, overseeing budget accountability and monitoring spend.
  • Identify opportunities to automate high-volume administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Recognize and incorporate the voice of the business when designing, delivering, and embedding talent practices.
  • Advocate, educate, and influence senior leaders on T&C scope, focusing on business transformation and people-centric approaches.
  • Operate and lead across geographies and industries, delivering large-scale talent initiatives.
  • Maintain a client-centric approach, building relationships with executive and senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
  • Understand and interpret RX business challenges and opportunities, aligning T&C support accordingly.
  • Be future-focused, recognizing the impact of global trends like AI on roles and identifying necessary upskilling.
  • Engage in outcome-focused conversations, bridging T&C solutions with business culture, performance, and objectives.
  • Apply strategic and commercial thinking to improve performance and serve as a thought partner to senior leadership.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide perspective while representing a strategic COE position, resolving differences for positive outcomes.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Demonstrate an educational background reflecting cognitive ability, commitment to personal development, and lead with curiosity, integrity, and resilience.
