About the Role

Honey Homes is hiring experienced residential remodelers strong in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to execute larger residential projects in San Francisco. We're growing our larger-project team and looking for skilled tradespeople to do the hands-on work on multi-day residential projects. A project lead scopes the job and sets the plan. You bring the carpentry, the electrical, and the plumbing and execute it to a high standard. The work is already sold and scheduled.

Responsibilities

Execute the scoped work on larger residential projects: demo, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, and cleanup
Perform carpentry tasks including dry rot repair, decks, fences, doors, trim, and finish work
Handle electrical tasks such as installing fixtures, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, and small wiring
Complete plumbing tasks including toilet and faucet replacement, valve work, minor pipe repair, and bathroom fixture swaps
Perform painting and drywall tasks including exterior and interior repaints, patching, and finishing
Work from the project lead's scope and identify any discrepancies on site
Serve as the on-site representative of Honey Homes, ensuring clear communication, respect for the member's home, and a professional job
Work primarily in San Francisco, with flexibility for nearby projects and job types

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
Proficiency in carpentry with the ability to handle routine electrical and plumbing tasks
Ability to work independently on site after the scope is defined
Flexibility to move between job types and locations
Strong customer service skills for extended interactions in members' homes
Attention to detail in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work
Valid driver's license
Own reliable truck or work vehicle
Own standard tools
Legal authorization to work in the US
Ability to carry a 50-lb toolbox 40 feet and lift 50 lbs from floor to waist
Ability to climb a ladder and work at height
Ability to repeatedly kneel, stand, and work overhead
Ability to crawl through a crawlspace
