About the Role
CACI is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to join their team and help solve critical customer challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate the deployment process.
- Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software.
- Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs.
- Use DevSecOps methodologies to identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies.
- Support the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience in systems engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified DoW or Intelligence Community operations.
- Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements.
- Experience performing vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and remediating findings to maintain ATO compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities.
