About the Role

Our MedTech Field Service Engineer Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for installing hardware for automated medication dispensing systems within healthcare facilities throughout the United States. Responsibilities

Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems, focusing on installing and configuring hardware.
Reviewing schematics, drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
Performing pre-assembly, building, and installation of conveyors, automated dispensers, and related equipment.
Installing pneumatic devices, RFID readers, and sensors throughout conveyor systems.
Commissioning electronic/electrical systems and performing structured cabling installation.
Conducting routine checks and recording data from product tests post-installation and configuration.
Ensuring work completion adheres to quality compliance requirements.
Partnering with support staff to manage project timelines and customer needs.

Requirements

General Certificate of Secondary Education required.
Minimum 1 year of related electronics, hardware, software, or mechanical experience.
Professional business acumen and communication skills.
Comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
Ability to collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and healthcare personnel to define equipment layout, operations, and workflow.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, reading schematics, and assembling components.
Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status.
Position may require up-to-date immunizations.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
An active and unrestricted driver’s license.
Must possess a personal vehicle and be willing to use it for job-related assignments.
Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally weekly to support customer needs.
Must be located within 30 miles of a major airport.
Military veterans with experience in electronics-related MOS are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
