Responsibilities

Perform deep dive gap analysis on As-Is and To Be states.
Liaise with Project/Program Owners and Subject Matter Experts for elicitation, analysis, prioritisation, and approval of new business requests.
Define transitions of business processes to the strategic state.
Analyse and map process flows, domain models, system data flows, and associated life cycle events.
Elicit, prepare, and generate business requirements (functional and non-functional) in the form of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Use formal modelling techniques to represent business requirements.
Liaise with counterparts in related internal project/domain teams to understand dependencies and agree upon solutions.
Review and contribute to specific test scenarios and the overall Test Strategy.
Liaise with IT solution providers on project progress and problem resolution.
Assume cross-functional responsibilities such as running project coordination, daily stand-ups, retros, and backlog grooming sessions.
Work with Release Management to ensure a smooth implementation and transition phase.
Contribute to change management activities and prepare training artefacts.
Conduct peer review of business analysis artefacts.
Produce high-quality business analysis deliverables using relevant techniques and tools.
Be an active member of the BA Community of Practice (CoP).

Requirements

Experience in and understanding of Derivative products.
5+ years dedicated business analysis experience working on Agile, Lean, and Waterfall projects.
Experience working independently on Tier 1 projects across the full SDLC.
Deep understanding of business analysis fundamentals.
Experience in gathering stakeholder needs and translating them to detailed requirements.
Experience in business process modelling using software such as MS Visio or other enterprise endorsed platforms.
Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA and Confluence).
Effective communication, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across seniority levels.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage change within a dynamic environment.
Comfortable working within a matrix structure.
Experience working with Change Management and influencing user behaviour.
Proven ability to provide support for production incidents and end user queries.
Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Australia on a permanent basis without any restrictions.
