About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for major leading distribution and retail companies in Japan, engaging deeply as a technology partner. Beyond simple product proposals, you will deeply understand the client's management and business challenges and strategies, and together envision and realize transformation starting with AI and agent technology. Furthermore, beyond supporting assigned clients, you will play a central role in analyzing trends in the retail industry as a whole and formulating and executing Microsoft's industry strategy. This is a position where you can influence the industry itself through both technology and business.
Responsibilities
- Engage continuously with CxOs and technology leaders of major assigned game companies to lead the formulation of mid-to-long-term technology visions.
- Support the entire process from discovering use cases to implementation support utilizing Azure AI, Copilot, and agent frameworks.
- Design and promote Microsoft's market approach based on deep insights into industry trends, and increase influence across the industry by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maximize value delivery to customers by involving diverse teams such as engineers, partners, and marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of technology consulting, solution sales, business consulting, digital transformation, or related experience.
- Experience engaging with senior business and technology executives.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, data platforms, AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency and business-level English sufficient for internal communication.
