About the Role
Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure for cloud and AI growth, delivering the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The Cloud Supply Chain Global Operations team powers Microsoft's cloud by driving end-to-end supply chain strategy, planning, and operations across a global datacenter infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with supplier executives to align leadership expectations and enhance collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategic governance structures such as executive business reviews and operational scorecards to improve supplier performance.
- Optimize supplier capacity and production readiness through data-driven planning and strategic investments.
- Ensure supplier accountability by establishing clearly defined goals, responsibilities, and escalation mechanisms.
- Lead the execution of supplier management initiatives, ensuring alignment with Microsoft's operational and business priorities.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance through accurate data-driven indicators, and institute precise corrective measures when required.
- Drive enhancements in factory onboarding, supplier management, and capacity expansion in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead decision-making for material allocation, production sequencing, and recovery plans for challenging supplier scenarios.
- Promote continuous improvement using lean process methodologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and operational capacity.
- Act as a primary escalation point for critical supplier risks and uncertainties impacting business continuity.
Requirements
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
