About the Role

This is a 4-month paid Social Media & Digital Content Intern position at P&G's Toronto headquarters, running from January 11, 2027 – April 30, 2027 OR May 3, 2027 – August 20, 2027. The role offers hands-on learning, real-world impact, and the opportunity to contribute to a consumer-first culture within a company recognized as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People.

Responsibilities

  • Transform existing videos, raw footage, and image assets into high-performing content tailored for channels such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Retail Media.
  • Monitor social media, creator content, culture, and editing trends to bring fresh ideas and new techniques into daily work.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for content, creators, and campaigns.
  • Share learnings and best practices across local and regional teams.
  • Act as a hands-on, in-house creator, producing short-form video and content across various platforms.
  • Test new formats and translate learnings into scalable practices.
  • Partner with retail media, eCommerce, and brand teams to connect creator/influencer content to commerce outcomes.
  • Rapidly test new approaches and refine content based on performance insights, stakeholder feedback, and emerging platform trends.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Planned graduation in mid-late 2027 or 2028.
  • No more than 3 years of prior full-time experience (excluding intern/coop work terms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • A passion to lead complex work, embrace new experiences, and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Digital native with a deep understanding of social media platforms across owned, earned, and paid media.
  • Strong collaborator, able to navigate highly dynamic and complex internal and external environments.
  • Analytical and data-based in problem-solving, with an interest in what drives consumer behavior.
